This 1-day training is intended to build or refresh interviewing skills for individuals who currently conduct SAFE family evaluations. The training will be interactive and experiential. Non-county participants will be charged a fee of $40.00 for the training and materials. Prerequisite: SAFE two-day Training. **County and CPA staff have priority enrollment for this course.

Description: NEW INSTRUCTIONS(Class code SAFE)-Register on the WWW.COCWTRATINING WEBSITE. This two-day course is required for all individuals in Colorado who conduct foster/kin foster and adoptive family assessments (home studies), and optional for non-certified kinship. Supervisors (county departments) of these staff and Placement Supervisors (child placement agencies), as well as anyone else who approves home studies must complete the entire 2 days of training. Non-county participants will be charged a fee of $75.00 for the training and materials. ** County and CPA staff have priority enrollment for this course.

This 1-day training is exclusively for Supervisors of individuals who complete SAFE foster, domestic adoption, international adoption, and kinship family home studies. The trainer will assist supervisors to guide their staff regarding decision-making which occurs during the SAFE assessment process. Non-county participants will be charged a fee of $50.00 for the training and materials. Prerequisite: SAFE two-day Training. **County and CPA staff have priority enrollment for this course.
